The longest singing marathon by multiple singers is 110 hrs, 0 min and 15 sec, organised by the National Television Company of Ukraine, Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts and TV Channel ERA (Ukraine). The attempt took place in the studio of NTU, Kyiv, Ukraine and lasted from 29 March to 2 April 2012.
Over 350 bands and 1800 singers, dancers and musicians performed during the attempt with the purpose of showcasing the national culture and musical talents of the nation. The attempt was initially streamed online for the first stages of the attempt, and then continued to broadcast live on national TV during the last day of performances.
